Experience and Expertise

Daniel accepts instructions concerning the validity, enforceability and enforcement of the different forms of security which may be taken for regulated agreements, including land mortgages, bills of sale and personal guarantees.

He is instructed both on behalf of institutional lenders and borrowers in mortgage claims, including issues of redemption, charges, subrogation, exoneration, orders for sale and possession and notice of beneficial interests. He also accepts instructions in relation to unfair terms and unfair relationships in consumer credit agreements.

In 2012, Daniel spent six months on secondment at the Office of Trading providing advisory and drafting services in respect of regulation and licensing of consumer credit businesses, Government ratification of mortgage products and anti-money laundering provisions.
