Experience and Expertise

Daniel accepts instructions from legatees and personal representatives of the estates of deceased persons in relation to the interpretation, effect, duties and liabilities arising out of trust instruments and wills. He also has experience of contentious and non-contentious probate matters (including questions of testamentary capacity, undue influence and want of knowledge and approval), of the law of intestacy and proprietary estoppel and in applications under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.

Recent experience also includes a successful application to Court for the removal of an executor, advisory work on the construction of repugnant provisions in wills and a claim against an estate relating to co-ownership of estate property.
