Experience and Expertise

Marcus has wide experience in the field of property litigation. His experience includes trusts of land and undue influence, proprietary estoppel, adverse possession, boundaries, fraudulent instruments, land registration and rectification of the register, rights of way and other easements, options and rights of pre-emption, and restrictive covenants including covenants imposed under section 106 agreements.

He has appeared both on behalf of major institutional lenders and on behalf of borrowers in mortgage claims.

He acts for commercial and residential landlords and tenants in claims including claims in respect of rent arrears, forfeiture and possession, disrepair, leasehold enfranchisement, and business tenancies protected by the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
