Experience and Expertise

Mark West acted for a number of local authorities in the interest rate swaps litigation arising out of the decision of the House of Lords in Hazell v. Hammersmith & Fulham LBC [1992] 2 AC 1 that interest rate swaps were ultra vires local authorities and void.

He has appeared in a number of reported cases in the Commercial Court, the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords.
