Members of Radcliffe Chambers are sensitive to the particular demands of acting for public authorities.
Our members act for government departments and executive agencies, local authorities, regulators and law enforcement agencies, and they are used to working as part of a team with lawyers and other professionals in the public service.
We have experience of working with the Attorney General’s Office, the Charity Commission for England and Wales, the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland, the Financial Conduct Authority, HM Land Registry, HM Revenue and Customs, the Insolvency Service, the Office of Fair Trading, the Official Solicitor, the Pensions Regulator, the National Crime Agency, the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Treasury Solicitor, amongst others.
Six of our barristers are Junior Counsel to the Crown:
Kate Selway and Mark Mullen are members of HM Attorney General’s ‘A’ Panel (the most senior of the panels of barristers maintained by the Attorney General);
Mark Fell and Christopher Buckley are members of the ‘B’ Panel;
Catherine Doran and Nicholas Macklam are members of the ‘C’ Panel.
Other members have served as standing counsel to the Attorney General in charity matters and to the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
Please contact a member of our clerking team. They will also be able to provide details of members’ CJSM secure email addresses.
