Chris worked in derivatives before becoming a barrister, so he understands the issues faced by financial institutions and their advisers. - Acting for the defendants to an unfair prejudice claim relating to a substantial car auction business, for tax investment companies solvently dissolving despite £ multi-million of contingent claims, for a director setting side orders for the restoration of a company to the register following the sale of Indian subsidiaries, and for investors in a property development company bringing a £7m misfeasance claim against the director.

- Acting for the liquidators of a bridging loan company defending an appeal against the rejection of a £1m proof of debt, for a creditor seeking to winding-up a £20m London property investment company in the face of allegations of family fraud, for the UK’s largest engineering bar producer opposing an administration application issued by its subsidiary, and for a lender with interests in £28m of caravan sites defending a transaction at an undervalue claim by administrators.
