We have a large and experienced team of commercial barristers, with sector-specific expertise across a broad range of areas and industries. Our barristers appear at all levels for parties in large commercial litigation that passes through the UK High Courts, particularly the Commercial Court and Business & Property Courts as well as the Appellate Courts.  From short procedural hearings and injunctions to lengthy multi-month trials our barristers combine their commercial practices with strong expertise in financial services regulatory matters, corporate restructuring and insolvency, fraud and asset tracing, company law, energy, pensions, professional liability, tax litigation, partnership and joint ventures.

Many of our barristers, both KCs and juniors, are recognised by Chambers UK and the Legal 500 not only for commercial litigation but also in the commercial fields of banking and financial services, civil fraud, insolvency, offshore and company and partnership law.  In addition to this some of our barristers sit as Deputy Judges of the High Court and Arbitrators.

Much of our commercial work has an international element and our barristers have specific expertise in disputes of governing law, jurisdiction, the interpretation and effect of cross-border regulations, and the enforcement of overseas judgments. They also have wide experience of acting in respect of pre-emptive and interim applications for, among other things, freezing orders, search orders, pre-action disclosure and injunctions, including injunctions enforcing post-termination restrains in contracts, responding to team moves and restraining misuse of confidential information.
