John Clark
Head of Clerking
John has been with Radcliffe Chambers for over 30 years and leads a dedicated and efficient team of practice managers.
As well as leading the clerks’ room, John is responsible for the development of chambers and of individual members’ practices and plays a central role in building and maintaining new and existing relationships with clients both here in the UK and in offshore jurisdictions such as Jersey, Guernsey, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Hong Kong and Singapore.
As Head of Clerking, John oversees all our key practice areas in chambers, with particular focus on Private Client/Offshore, Pensions, and Banking/Financial Services, together with Radcliffe’s team of silks.
John is always available to discuss allocation of work, fees or any other aspect of a members’ practice. He takes a sensible, flexible and commercial approach in all matters to ensure a high level of client service and is described by clients as “extremely commercial, highly responsive and thoroughly pragmatic” and “excellent at getting the right barrister for the right case”.
