Commercial silk David Mohyuddin KC has joined Radcliffe Chambers as a full member.
David was called to the Bar in 1999 and took silk in 2016. He specialises in commercial litigation, involving insolvency, allegations of fraud, asset tracing, professional negligence, company law and shareholder disputes.
His recent work includes successfully defending an insolvency practitioner accused of having given false evidence at an earlier trial; resisting an appeal in which it was suggested that a judgment could be set aside on the grounds that it had been obtained by fraud without the need to bring fresh proceedings; and advising and representing a major local authority in respect of a dispute with the developer of a strategically important site in the city.
Chambers UK Bar 2020 says: “David is fantastic to work with – on top of being technically excellent he is extremely user-friendly and very quickly builds up a great rapport with clients.” The Legal 500 describes him as: “A silk who gets his hands dirty.”
Fiona Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of Radcliffe Chambers, said: “We are delighted to welcome David to chambers. He is an excellent KC, with impressive commercial experience, and he shares our commitment to working with clients collaboratively, as an extension of their teams.”
David Mohyuddin KC said: “I am very pleased to be joining the commercial team at Radcliffe Chambers and look forward to working with them to develop my practice across the UK and internationally.”
Radcliffe Chambers has significantly increased its number of KCs since 2018, with four appointments from among its juniors and three lateral recruits. This latest addition to its roster will help it meet increasing client needs in the areas of commercial, fraud and insolvency litigation.
