The needs and requirements of owners, occupiers, developers and investors in the Real Estate sector have changed as result of the pandemic. As we emerge into the new world, intent on building back better, it is important that property lawyers appreciate and understand the interface of the property world with the evolving planning system.

This webinar, hosted by Clive Moys and Natalie Pratt on Tuesday 13 April at 11:00 AM is aimed at explaining some of the fundamental building-blocks and concepts of the planning system: What is and is not “development”; Permitted Development Rights; Use Classes; Planning Obligations; and Heritage in the context of actual every day real world scenarios.

Some understanding of planning system may be useful, but no prior knowledge will be assumed, with explanations from first principles given. This webinar may be of particular interest to property lawyers – both litigators and transactional lawyers who wish to gain an understanding, or enhance their understanding, of the planning system as it interfaces with real property and landlord and tenant work.
