Matthew will be discussing ‘Conflicts of interest’
The Charity Commission will soon publish updated guidance on conflicts of interest. Matthew will explain who in a charity needs to be aware of potential conflicts of interest, how they can manage a conflict, and what can happen if a conflict is not managed properly.

Amber will dive into ‘Making Moral Payments’
On 27 November 2025, the Charity Commission published its updated guidance on “How charities can make a moral, or ‘ex gratia’, payment” (CC7). Amber will explain the key changes, go over the legal framework, and look at some examples of how this all applies to charities and their advisers.
