Trustees and personal representatives may find themselves involved in a wide range of claims, from debt to probate, estoppel to the Inheritance Act. In this session, Matthew will explain the steps they can and should take in these common types of private client disputes.

Olivia will dive into ‘The rights and wrongs of deathbed gifts’

In her session, Olivia will outline the requirements for a successful deathbed gift and provide an overview of the treatment of this subject in the case of Rahman v Hassan [2024] EWHC 1290 (Ch), with an eye to the upcoming appeal.
