Returning to chambers as the courts reopen

As courts begin to transition to hybrid and in-person hearings, Radcliffe Chambers is taking steps to reopen its offices and continue to provide as comprehensive a service as possible. Our priority remains the safety of our employees, barristers and clients, and we have taken stringent measures to ensure that our people are able to return to work safely and flexibly, in line with government guidance.

From this week, members of our clerking team will be present in chambers every day between 9.30am and 5.30pm to deal with matters that can only be managed in person. Our barristers and other staff are also able to safely work in chambers. We are monitoring the situation on an ongoing basis so that we can ensure that our approach remains the right one for us and our clients. You can continue to contact our clerking team by telephone (020 7831 0081) and email (clerks@radcliffechambers.com), and should also feel free to contact our barristers directly.

At the beginning of lockdown, we promised that we would stay in touch and deliver more thought leadership than ever before. Our barristers and marketing team have worked hard to produce almost weekly interactive webinars, as well as numerous briefings and opinion pieces. Our social media has never been so active and, in the absence of in-person events, has become one of our primary means of providing added value to clients. Follow us on LinkedIn to make sure you never miss an update.

We are delighted to announce that we have recently taken our online content to a new level with the launch of our YouTube channel, which will feature recordings of our webinars for those who are unable to attend the live event, as well as videos relating to our pupillage programme and cases.

As ever, if you have any questions about chambers and our response to the pandemic, please do not hesitate to contact our Chief Executive, Fiona Fitzgerald, directly by email (ffitzgerald@radcliffechambers.com) or or by telephone (020 7693 5721).
