We are pleased to share that members of Radcliffe Chambers have been recognised in the 2026 Pro Bono Recognition List of England and Wales.

Congratulations to Matthew Weaver KC and Marie-Claire Bleasdale on this well-deserved recognition of their commitment to providing pro bono legal support.

We were also deeply touched to see Reuben recognised once again this year. Following his recent passing, this acknowledgement is particularly meaningful. Reuben was a valued member of Chambers and his contribution to pro bono work, and to the profession more widely, will not be forgotten.

He played a central role in strengthening our pro bono efforts at Radcliffe. As our Pro Bono Champion, Reuben engagement across Chambers and encouraging members at all levels to get involved. His dedication helped foster a culture where pro bono work is both visible and valued, and his impact continues to be felt.

Alongside this, his own practice made a meaningful difference, including securing an important result in the Court of Appeal and a pro bono costs order of over £80,000 to support future access to justice work.
